Site Record

OAN field survey, located by GPS to an accuracy of +/- 1m. A field system complex located to the south west of Newtown Mountain plantation and just outside the study area. The site warrents surveying as it cosists of several buildings/stock pens surviving with low drystone walls. These are placed within a sub-oval enclosure boundary bank with internal dividing banks. The site is more complex than both the current and 1st Edition mapping suggests and is part of a derelict farming landscape around and within Newtown Mountain plantation.2003/02/12/OAN/NW
