Built late C19, and shown on the 2nd ed OS, by the Pontypool Gas & Water Co. Still in use.

Reservoir 130m NNW-SSE by 70m, comprising earthen bank up to 3m high, curved to the S side. Facing the road (A4043) is a rubble-stone wall 2.5m high with square rock-faced terminal piers.
