Massive late C19 NW of the colliery, where spoil was dumped from Big Pit and other local collieries, including Garn Pit. Originally higher and conical, some spoil has been removed and used as low-grade power-station fuel.

A large tip approximately 350m N-S by 250m, up to 30m high. Mainly cpvered with thin grass but some coal dust and shale exposed.
