Description
Clwyd Hall (originally called Claremont) is a six-bay house of brick, with stone dressings, and mullioned and transomed windows with labels. It has a Gothic feel, being asymmetrical and having a square tower. The tower originally had an oriel above the entrance, a band of half-timbering at the top, and a crested spire. Early alterations included the extension of the entrance front to the rear, and an addition above a single-storey wing at the N end of the W front. In the 1920s the tower was reduced and remodelled.
Associated with Clwyd Hall garden (Nprn 266347).
