Probably 17th century timber framing but plain 19th century exterior. Two storeys; ashlared stucco under a slate roof. Above are two casement windows rising through eaves under gables. Below, from left, are through-passage, modern door, 3-light window and shopfront across no.49. The storeyed box framing is in two bays with collared-truss roof and wind braces and chimney on W side of mid truss. Two similar short timber-framed rear wings.
