1. Possible 16th century open roof truss to the first floor hall; a 17th century building, with closed roof trusses, adjoins to the rear. Both buildings are timber framed.

2. Formerly the Royal Oak public house. The street frontage has an 18th century facing of coursed and dressed limestone. Of two storeys under a slate roof with rendered brick chimneys, the left bay is a continuous build with nos.47 and 49 and the right bay has a vehicular passage at ground floor level.
