DescriptionCoed-y-Celyn is an Italianate stone-built villa with a rear range dated 1874. The main house being probably later in date. It has a two-storey, five bay front, with a four storey tower over a central entrance. The pitched slate roofs have ironwork finials and paired left hand stacks. The windows to both floors are arched. There is a four window lower service range to the left. The rich interiors include Adamesque wall panels with medallions, Corinthian columns, and a mosaic floor. The ballroom, has an arched double doorway, glass ceiling and a large arched alcove. The landing also has a glass ceiling.
