Description
1. Hexagonal pillbox, wide splayed embrasures equipped with 'Turnbull' mountings. D plan LAAMG emplacement attached to rear wall (south east elevation). Steel pintle in rear wall for ground role. Set into hedgeline.

2. Scheduled area (SAM CD211, 23rd September 2009) includes nine other pillboxes, built between 1940-1941, around the perimeter of the airfield to safeguard it from potential war-time attack. This pillbox corresponds to Area H in the schedule.
