Description
Square pillbox. Brick inner and thick outer layer of local stone. Concrete roof and small entrance. One small embrasure next to entrance and one in each side facing the lake. One side has no embrasure. Remains of machine gun mounting at one embrasure.

Local information provided extra information on associated sites. Two further pillboxes not found due to thick undergrowth. One pillbox believed complete, one in ruins. The site was guarded by a large Home Guard Defence Coy (mainly farmers and dam workers). In addition regular soldiers arrived after Dunkirk evacuation.
