Description
Tan-y-garth is a single-storey rubble house with an attic, sited along a slope. There is a tall square chimney at the hall end of the house, and a small stack to the opposite gable. Part of one gable wall is timber-framed, suggesting that the whole house may have been so constructed. Internally, a timber-framed partition separates the hall from the entry, and exposed ceiling beams are visible to the hall.
