Event and Historical Information:,
The T. C. B. was a 28nt wooden cutter built in 1863 and registered at Caernarfon. At time of loss on 13 October 1870, the cutter had been dredging oysters (possibly from the oyster bank off Pwllheli when it was caught by a southwesterly hurricane (force 12 gale). The cutter was blown ashore and wrecked in Criccieth Bay with the loss of all six crewmembers.
