Event and Historical Information:
The THORA was a wooden schooner built by A S Moen at Moy in 1919. Technical and configuration specifications are given as 288gt, 244nt; 124ft 3in length x 27ft 1in breadth x 12ft 5in depth; 1 deck. The vessel had one change of name during its service life - ex-RUTHO. At time of loss 29 October 1927, the vessel was owned by T A Christiansen and registered at Christiansand. The schooner was carrying deals from Frederickstad to Porthmadog.
