Event and Historical Information:
The GIPSY KING was a 33nt wooden ketch built in 1867 and registered at Douglas, Isle of Man. At time of loss 12 December 1899, the vessel was owned by E Cubbon of Douglas and under the command of master T Copper. The vessel was fishing out of Llandudno when it was caught by a south-westerly force 7 gale and went ashore near the Little Orme
