Event and Historical Information:
The ZAZEL was a 4nt cutter or yacht built in 1876 and owned by J Dean of Blackburn. The vessel was on passage from Llandudno to Conwy but was caught on the exposed coast by a north-northwesterly force 9 gale. The cutter went ashore at Llandudno.
