Description
Fron Uchaf was situated on the slopes of Moel y Parc but is now demolished. The house was often rebuilt and altered, with the oldest parts possibly as old as the 14th or 15th century. At the time it was last surveyed, it was stone-built, but was probably originally timber-framed, and had an irregular stone stack. One of its most interesting features was window with a Gothic arch, built in the distinctive local sandstone. It also had a segmental-arched doorway.
