Description
This record comprises a documentary reference to a shipping casualty which has been assigned to the maritime named location OFF HOLYHEAD pending more information which may allow a more precise location for the loss to be assigned.

Event and Historical Information:
A report by the master of the WYVIL PACKET was printed in Lloyds List on 15 September 1752. The vessel had just arrived at Dublin from Holyhead and on that voyage he had seen a brig wrecked 12 miles from Holyhead. The crew had been saved.
