The GIPSY KING was a 217nt wooden schooner. At the time of loss, 17 October 1869, the vessel was sailing from Liverpool to Glasgow with a general cargo, when it was stranded on Dulas Rocks, Anglesey, in a north-easterly force 9 gale. Nine crew member lives were lost.
