The character and extent of archaeological remains is presently unknown.
Event and Historical Information:
The MARY COLES was a wooden schooner carrying a cargo of slates from Bangor to Lossiemouth on 5 May 1882. The schooner ran onto a rock and subsequently foundered eight hours later, 5 miles east of Point Lynas.
