Event and Historical Information:
The LEONARDUS was a wooden sailing vessel on passge from Liverpool to Dordt under the command of master Noord. The report printed in Lloyds List on 16 September 1825 stated the vessel had foundered on the 11 September off Point Lynas, but that the crew had been saved.
