Description
This record comprises a documentary reference to a shipping casualty which has been assigned to the maritime named location SARN BADRIG pending more information which may allow a more precise location for the loss to be assigned.

Event and Historical Information:
The LILY was a 13nt wooden yacht built at Wynvenhose in 1880. At time of loss on 25 May 1888, the yacht belonged to J H Lister of Barmouth but was registered at Colchester (official number 79408). The yacht was undertaking a pleasure cruise with Mr Lister at the helm when it ran onto Sarn Badrig and become stranded.
