The EULOMENY was a steel-hulled full-rigged ship built by R Thompson & Sons at Sunderland in 1891. Technical and configuration specifications are given as 2725gt; 2607nt; 310ft 5in length x43ft breadth x 24ft 5in depth; 2 decks, 1 bulkhead. At time of loss on 29 January 1894, the ship was owned by the Liverpool Shipping Company Ltd and under the command of C G Cross. The report printed in Lloyds List noted that the vessel had become stranded on the coast of Cardigan Bay during a gale.
