This record consists of a documentary reference to a shipping casualty which has been assigned to the maritime named location ENTRANCE MILFORD HAVEN pending more information which may allow a more precise location for the loss to be assigned.

Event and Historical Information:
The SANTA CRUZ is rumoured to be a Spanish galleon which was lost near Milford Haven on 11 November 1679. The galleon was carrying 220 chests of gold and 2.5 tons of silver from the West Indies to Spain.
