Event and Historical Information:
The LOYALTY was a schooner built in 1850 registered at the Aberystwyth. The schooner was owned at time of loss by D Jones, Cardigan, and enroute from Cardiff to Holyhead with a cargo of coal. The schooner stranded near the pier (Scotch Bay) at Milford haven and a force 8 WNW gale and was subsequently lost on 27 March 1885.
