Description
This record comprises a documentary reference to a shipping loss which has been assigned to the maritime named location ENTRANCE MILFORD HAVEN pending more information becoming available which may allow a more precise location for the loss to be assigned.

Event and Historical Information:
The HERALD was a wooden sailing vessel on passage from Dublin to Cork and Jamaica under the command of master Watson. The report printed in Lloyds List on 9 January 1810 noted that the vessel had been lost near Milford Haven, but the crew had been saved.
