Description
According to Palmer, the house was described as new in 1726, and the frontage range facing appears to be of about this date, while the parallel rear range is a later addition of c1830.

The exterior is render over brick with a slate roof with end wall stacks. It is a 2 storey building, the front having a 5 window range with a central entrance. The entrance has a pedimented doorcase, flanked by 3 flush framed sash windows to the left and 1 to the right (with internal shutters). There are similar windows to the upper storey. There is a canted, full-height extension against the right hand gable which was probably added when the parallel rear range was built. The interior of the building (including the staircase) was almost certainly remodelled at the same time.
