Description
The wreck is not confirmed as present on the seabed, and as a consequence has been associated with the maritime named location NASH SANDS in the first instance pending further research.

Historical information:
The privateer, ROYAL HUNTER, was lost on Nash Sands on 28 October 1747. The vessel had a large number of hands to work the ship in battle, for armed boarding and for sending away as prize crews. As a consequence, 110 men were drowned in the incident. The ship is noted as having belonged to the port of Bristol and been under the command of master Clark.
