Description
The site survives as a sub-circular earth and stone stock enclosure, which surrounds two Medieval long huts. The enclosure measures approximately 25m long from north-west to south-east, and 20m wide. Its banks are 0.4m wide by up to 0.2m high. The main hut is 9m long from north to south, is 3.5m wide and is sunken by 0.2m.The second hut to the east is 5m long by 4m wide, and is partially sunken. The whole site is denuded because it has been used for the construction of a sinuous sheep shelter on the western edge of the enclosure. This shelter, which has since collapsed, it measures approximately 25m long, 3m wide and up to 0.5m high. 2003.11.27/OAN/PJS
