The Pemprys rural settlement comprises the remains of a long hut lying just north of the Afon Pemprys at a natural junction of its tributaries. The building measures 12 x 6 m and is defined by low earth and stone banks. In close proximity to the site there is an earth cut hollow which leads into the river - this may have been used for dipping sheep.
