One of two waterworn boulders with Latin inscription of late fifth-century character. The stone was moved to Cefn Amlwch in the late nineteenth-century and subsequently moved to St Hywyn's Church Aberdaron c.1990.

The inscription reads VERACIVS/PBR/HIC/IACIT. V and E are conjoined in the first line.
