DescriptionSited on the corner of Bridge Street and fronting onto Chapel Street is the old Post Office. Three-bay symmetrical frontage, with three finialed gables, the smaller to the centre. Hipped slate roof with a square central chimney stack. Recessed casement windows to the first floor, with stone lintels. Large 12-pane window to the shop front, which is to the right of the ground floor. Beside this is the double doorway with timber-moulding.
