Description
A derelict 2-storey timber-framed farmhouse comprising a tall 16th-century NE block and a longer W wing. Much of the E block was replaced by brickwork from the 18th century onwards. The roof retains small wind braces. The W wing, set at right angles, is of cruder character, and is probably earlier. The cruck roof springs from the ground level and has arched braced collars. This wing contains two badly damaged stairs, the older of which has a narrow handrail, plain newels and slat balusters decorated with roundels and lozenges. The house was demolished in 1972.
