Area of Llyn Coedty reservoir, adapted c. 1900's. Prior to this period area was marshy and water logged with small farmstead in area with surrounding ponds. Later dammed and turned into reservoir as part of hydro-electric industrialisation.(JONES.RS/CAP/2003)
