Description
Plas-y-Llan is a 17th century manor house. It is 2 storey, with a slate roof, and the date 1685 with the Wynne arms over the fireplace.
The building is L-shaped, built of pebble-dashed and whitened rubble, with pitched slate roofs. The main front has a left-of-centre round-arched doorway and flanking late 19th or early 20th century tripartite sliding sash windows. There are similar, smaller tripartite windows to the first floor. Interior features include stopped-chamfered ceiling beams, a late 17th century dog-leg stair, and a 17th century stone fireplace with crude corbelling and primitive painted decoration.
