A stone marker, one of 3 in the immediate vicinity and one of several in the km square. It is comprised of a limestone slab at a 45-degree angle, with a second stone beneath it. There is an extensive view of the surrounding area. This stone, and the other two in the vicinity, lie on an OS marked trackway, although no sign of the trackway remains. Phase one of the site, underneath phase two, cannot be clearly determined as it is mostly hidden in the peat. It is approximately 0.7 x 0.2 x 0.1 m in size. The mostly upright stone represents phase two of the site, its dimensions are 0.7 x 0.25 x 0.1 m. James Bonsall, Earthsound Archaeological Geophysics, 18/APRIL/2004.
