A sub-oval shepherds shelter located on the eastern side of the summit of Foel-fras. It is built of scree stones, with an entrance to the north, and a central lintel which holds up a surviving rough stone roof. The roof may have once been turfed. The shelter measures approximately 6m long by 3m wide and up to 1.5m high. Peter Schofield, Oxford Archaeology North, 16th June 2004.
