Description
A small linear section of collapsed walling on the southern side of Craig Cefn Coch. It is is orientated north to south and measures approximately 7m long with a small section of walling running east to west at the northern end which measures 1.5m . The wall is 0.5m thick by up to 0.5m high and there is a mound of earth and grass covered stone on the southern side. The walling may possibly be part of a sheep shelter, but it very denuded and therefore difficult to suggest a reliable function. Peter Schofield, Oxford Archaeology North, 1st July 2004.
