Description
Part of an irregular terrace of buildings bordering saint Giles's Churchyard, and enclosing the rear of plots of buildings on the High Street. Built Originally a house, which is now in use as a shop, and originally forming part of 3-4 Church Street, to which it is still linked at first floor level. It was built, or rebuilt, as prt of the property by Samual edwards in 1757.

It is probably constructed of brick, covered by lined out render and has a slate roof. it is two storeyed, and has a two windowed front range with renewed/inserted doorway to the right and an inserted shop front to the left. On the first floor is a two-light casement window and a datestone with the initials E over SM.

the interior has been haevily altered, but retains the 18th century staircase with a turned baluster.
