Description
An area of possible field clearance on the north edge of cefn Tan-y-graig. The site is very ephermeral and could be associated with peat cutting. The site contains one section of earthen bank running north/south, which measures 38m long by 2m in wide an up to 0.25m high. There are also five small circular clearance cairns in the area to the west of the bank. Overall the site measures approximately 50m square. The mounds are of mostly earthen construction and measure approximately 2m in diameter by 0.2m in height. P. Schofield, Oxford Archaeology North, 2nd December 2004
