Description
A circular shooting butt, one of nine in a line, located on the west side of a small stream and running down slope on a south-east to north-west alignment; 100m to the north of Gwlfa Hiraethog shooting lodge (NPRN 23045). The shooting butt is constructed of earth and stacked turf walls, which define a roughly circular area, approximately 4m in diameter and 0.6m high, with an entrance on the north side.

Partially surrounding the shooting butt, is a further earthwork, a scarp slope, which may well be the resulting scar from the cutting of turf during the construction of the butt.
