Shooting butt, one of a number shown on the current Ordnance Survey mapping and aligned approximately north/south on the east side of Liberty Hall. Ruinous horse shoe shaped of stone and turf construction. It measures approximately 4m in diameter by 0.6m high. K. Blythe, Oxford Archaeology North, 29th March 2005
