Description
This former building consists of the remains of stone walling, forming a rectilinear structure, thought to possibly be a former platform house. The structure measures 4.5m south-south-east by 4.5m, and is is set accross a north-east facing slope. A terraced enclosure adjoins it to the south. It is located in close proximity to Possible former chapel site (NPRN 43840) and below a set of lynchets (NPRN 275809). All three appear to be constituents of a deserted rural settlement. The area is depicted as Ffridd yr Eglwys on historic (1889) Ordnance Survey mapping. Three routeways and three field boundaries converge some 150m south of the chapel site.
