A hotel of one and a half storeys. Rubble walls and a pitched slate roof, with end and axial stacks. Five gabled dormers to the upper floor: three to the left and two to the right of the axial stack. The left side of the building has a date inscription of 1736 and the right 1840. Sash windows throughout, with hood-moulds to the two ground floor windows flanking the main hotel entrance, which is towards the left of the front elevation.
