A tract of open common land (DAT 1998). Dinas hill is characterised by a large hill with rocky steep slopes on both the E and W. The summit of Dinas is occupied by the remains of an iron age hillfort at a height of 385m . R.S. Jones, Cambrian Archaeological Projects, 2004
