[Additional:] An abandoned Snowdonian house of considerable interest; latterly used as a cowhouse and now (2010) derelict. Glasdir-mawr has the classic developed Snowdonian plan with heated parlour (downhill) and hall (uphill) on either side of the central entrance passage. Contemporary detail includes the passage partition of post-and-panel type. The trusses have been reset, probably with the reconstruction of the far lateral wall. The associated farmbuildings are very derelict. RFS/September/2010
