Description
A long rectangular structure measuring 9 m by 4 m externally situated on a relatively flat area adjacent to a stream. Aligned south south east to north north west, built up by 0.5 m at the south south east end. Walls 0.9 m wide and surviving to 0.6 m high may have been rebuilt and the structure used as a sheepfold. Some large boulders are noted in the wall foundation above which the walls are horizontal slab construction with some vertically set slabs defining the wall edges in places. K. Laws, Engineering Archaeology Services, 17th January 2005.
