Description
Several stretches of the same wall running between the cow sheds NPRN 284640 and the Nant Gwryd between SH69371 56994 and SH 69373 56769. Towards the cow sheds the wall has been rebuilt and maintained, while towards the river it is more tumbled and in places is seen only as a stony bank. Elsewhere its line is taken up by a modern fence. The wall is mixed slab and boulder construction and is 0.7 m wide and at its best is 1.4 m high. Evident on AD 1890-91 Ordnance Survey map. K. Laws, Engineering Archaeology Services, 29th January 2005.
