Description
A section of Taylor's Leat, part of an extensive leat network built by John Taylor and Sons during the 1850s. This section runs from the Nant Rhyddlan stream to the west at SN7380889787, around the southern end of Bryniau Rhyddion and Cefnyresgair, and is interrupted by a concrete sluice system (NPRN 285712) at SN7453888005, on the northern side of the Brynyrafr Lead Mine complex. Water was taken from the leat at this point for use at the mine. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 3 January 2006
