A level shown on the 1891 Ordnance Survey map, probably associated with the nearby Hyddgen lead mine. The level remains open and a small spoil tip (NPRN 285798) lies immediately to the east of the opening. The site was partly obscured by vegetation when visited in July 2005. R.P.
