A sluice mechanism diverting water from leat, NPRN 285502, towards Brynyrafr mine. The sluice consisted of an earthwork dam and concrete settings to hold sluice gates. When visited during Upland survey in 2005, the vegetation cover was grass with reeds in the base of the feature. J.J. Hall, Trysor, 3 January 2006
