A spoil tip derived from mine shaft NPRN 285790, downslope and east of the shaft. It measures 20m x 10m. The shaft is part of the Hyddgen lead mine, NPRN 303268 and was shown on the 1891 Ordnance Survey map and identified by the RCAHMW from an Ordnance Survey aerial photograph, frame number, 96/227-006.
